Bald Mountain & Artist's Bluff

Looking for a shorter hike with a nice view on the way home from a short trip up north one weekend, I decided the quick hike of Bald Mountain and Artist's Bluff would be a good choice. The full loop took me about one hour total to complete and it isn't very hard. If you stay on the northern end of the trails to get to both spots, you will avoid most of the steep bits as well. The views are good for being so low and well worth the effort it takes. Both spots are nice and open so you can see in multiple directions.

  • Back on the trail towards Artist's Bluff, I came across a spruce tree that had dropped a large amount of green needles on the ground
