Mt. Kearsarge 7/30/12

I have wanted to hike Mt. Kearsarge for a while and finally decided to just go there after work and take the long way home. I went on a clear sunny day with little wind and a bit of humidity. I only saw a couple other hikers while there. The elevation gain to the 2,937 foot summit was 1,172 feet. taking the Barlow Trail up and Winslow Trail down, my hike was 2.47 miles long. This is a nice little peak with good views and not a lot of effort required.
