Waterfalls & Redlining 5/6/17

After spending the morning in Berlin, I wanted to get in a short hike to make the 3 hour drive more worth it. So I picked this loop on the flanks of Mt. Madison so that I could get some redlining in and also go past a couple waterfalls. About halfway through the rain started coming down pretty steady, so I didn't take any pictures on the way down.   • Low down on the mountain the Trout Lilies were already in bloom

  • In one location there was a large cluster of Trout Lilies.  One of the ones here has someone hiding in it
  • The loop I took today went past a couple waterfalls.  The first one was Stairs Fall

  • I reached The Outlook just as the rain started to pick up.  I put on my raincoat and the camera stayed in the bag for the rest of the hike
