The Halfway House trail is pretty gentle on the way up to half way

  • The Halfway House trail is pretty gentle on the way up to half way
  • There aren't many big rocks in the trail for quite a while
  • The steepest part of the Halfway House trail is right near the end of it

  • The trail starts off over some larger rocks
  • And then starts to head up hill
  • The trail gets a little covered with rocks and roots
  • And it continues up at a pretty good inline
  • And continues some more
  • Eventually the trail isn't as rough
  • It only starts to level off right at the very end
  • Once on the Cliff Walk trail there is many nice views
  • The trees are changing on Gap Mtn
  • Before heading down the Noble trail I had one glimpse of the summit on the Cliff Walk trail
  • After coming down the Noble trail, I was ready to go up the Hedgehog trail
