My 13th hike of the year and my 50th time to the summit total. A great day for a hike with sunny skies and just a bit of a breeze. The bugs weren't bad and I didn't run into any people on the side trails, just the main trails.

  • Starting off at the Old Toll Road Trailhead, I went up the Old Falfway House Trail
  • Entering into thicker trees on the Old Halfway House Trail
  • This tree can be seen through in four different directions
  • A small purple flower found at the old Halfway House site
  • More of the small flower
  • Common daisies
  • Overlooking view from the old Halfway House site
  • Looking up to the summit from the old Halfway House site
  • Heading up a steep rocky section of the Monte Rosa Trail
  • Bunchberry growing next to the trail
  • Heading through the green of the forest
  • A toad that made himself a nice little spot in the needles on a big rock
