11-25-2011 Climb

My 22nd hike of the year up the mountain. There was snow or ice everywhere on the mountain with ice mostly above treeline from a storm a few days ago. It was sunny and temps were above freezing making snow and ice melt and fall off the trees almost like rain. The microspikes came in handy today in many places.

  • Heading up the Old Halfway House Trail
  • This old dead tree has fallen with the top few feet over the trail
