  • Mt. Clay just behind some clouds rising out of the Great Gulf
  • Mounts Adams and Madison past the auto road
  • These clouds were coming up out of the Great Gulf and over the range
  • Looking down the Cog Railway tracks while I cross over them
  • Looking down the Cog Railway tracks as I cross over them
  • Mt. Clay off to the side of the tracks
  • The Gulfside Trail going over a rocky bit
  • Looking out over the Great Gulf
  • The spot has one of the best views showing just how big the Great Gulf actually is
  • The trail runs right along the side of the very top of the gulf. No room for a fall here
  • As I was hiking the trail I heard the distinctive sound of the old steam cog coming up the mountain. I got up on a couple rocks and grabbed some pictures
  • The steam cog making the first summit trip of the day. Shortly after a couple of the diesels came up as well
