Middle Carter & South Carter 9.12.20
The annual Flags on the 48 memorial hike. This year our team did Middle Carter. Weather for the day was sunny, a bit cool, and with just a little bit of wind. The actual summit of Middle Carter is wooded and only as open as needed for a trail to pass over it. After our time flying the flag some of us continued the hike over Middle Carter and on to South Carter as well to grab another peak. Today's hike was 11.3 miles with 3,737 feet of overall elevation gain
