Mt. Abraham - VT (7 of 67)

Peak number 7 of 67 peaks for this year would be Mt. Abraham in VT at 4,006 feet. It was hiked on 6/1/14 where the conditions on the summit was mostly sunny and it was 63 degrees with 6 mph winds gusting to 9 mph. The hike was 9.95 miles with 2,869 ft of vertical gain. I the hiked the mountain today using the long trail and attempted to hit Mt. Ellen as well to get two peaks in one day. Having not been here before though, I turned around a little before Mt. Ellen on a wooded hump that I thought was the summit since it had a marker and I couldn't see anything else further up the ridge
