1. New England 4000+ ft Mountains

Mt. Liberty 9.9.17

For the 16th anniversary Flags on the 48 event, our group hiked Mt. Liberty in order to fly our flag. We took the Liberty Spring Trail up to the summit. We had mostly clear skies at our summit, but some other nearby summits were in the clouds. A gentle breeze for most of the day kept the fly blowing most of the time we had it up as well. In total, the hike was 8.14 miles with 3,066 ft overall elevation gain and 3,323 ft of total gain.
