Mt. Washington 7.21.2013
Today I hiked Mt. Washington for the Mount Washington Observatory's 13th annual Seek the Peak fundraising event. A bad weather forecast changed the plans from hiking Saturday before the after party to hiking Sunday after the after party (now before party). I went up the Lion Head Trail and came down the Boott Spur Trail. The hike was a total of 8.62 miles and had 4,406 feet of elevation gain. Weather was good for Mt. I drove up a day early so I could go to the Seek the Peak after party (that became a before party due to weather). This was my campsite for the night between the party and hike
