1. New England 4000+ ft Mountains

North Brother (43 of 67)

Peak number 43 would come the day after 42 (9/9/14) and would be North Brother at 4,151 ft. The mountain is in Baxter State Park in Maine and the hike would end up being 8.88 miles with 3,088 ft of overall elevation gain and 3,307 ft total elevation gain. The weather was great for this hike with plenty of sun and comfortable temperatures. I also saw my first black bear while hiking a 4,000 footer on this hike
