Mt. Tom, Mt. Field, & Mt. Willey (45-47 of 67)

Peaks 45-47 of my quest for 67 in a single year were Mt. Tom (4,051 ft), Mt. Field (4,340 ft), and Mt. Willey (4,285 ft). I hiked them from the back side compared to most hikers. Starting off on Zealand Road, doing a traverse of the ridge, and then looping back to the start going past Ethan Pond. • Gradually heading up the trail as it loops around to the summit of Mt. Willey
  • A viewpoint looking southwest near the summit
  • Some foliage in the valley to the west
  • Mt. Webster across the notch from Mt. Willey
  • The view from Mt. Willey over to the Presidential Range
  • Looking down at the southern end of Crawford Notch
  • Miles taking in one of my favorite views in the Whites
  • Foliage and exposed rock on Webster Cliff
  • Foliage and exposed rock on Webster Cliff. This just shows that some trees will try to live anywhere they can find a spot
  • Some of the crevasses on Webster Cliff
  • Foliage and exposed rock on Webster Cliff
  • Mt. Washington with Mt. Pierce, Mt. Eisenhower, and Mt. Monroe in front of it
  • Mt. Jefferson with a bit of Mt. Adams poking up behind
  • Mt. Webster with Mt. Jackson just behind
  • Route 302 on the left, railroad tracks on the right
  • A rock slide leading up to the summit of Mt. Webster
  • The Wildcats off in the distance
  • The Cog Railway tracks can be seen heading up Mt. Washington
  • The summit of Mt. Willey got a bit crowded just before I left
