Eyrie House Ruins

I went hiking with a friend on Mt. Nonotuck in Mass. We went exploring to go to the old Eyrie House ruins and then continued along to the ridge to Goat Peak as well.

The Eyrie house was originally built in 1861 and then burned down in 1901. A new building was started, but never completed. There was also an inclined railroad that was being built up the mountain to the site which also was never completed.
