Stairway to Heaven - Peterborough, NH

Many people in Peterborough know about this old stone staircase now sitting unused in the woods. I found out about it by through someone I met while working in town. He called it the "stairway to heaven" because it use to get used by the group of monks that lived above it. Every Sunday they would come marching down it on their way to church in downtown. It wasn't as long of a staircae as I was expecting from his description, but it was far more elaborate than expected.
