  • 08.29.2011<br /> <br /> The day after Hurricane Irene at the dam leading into Quechee Gorge in VT. The water level is way up over normal, but is already down about 5 feet from its peak yesterday during the storm. It had been coming over the higher part of the dam on the right
  • 08.28.2011 Coming home from up north during hurricane Irene we stopped at the Basin in Franconia Notch. The water levels were way up and the banks were over flowing quite a bit.
