  • On a smaller plane now between Puerto Rico and Dominica
  • Clouds to the west over the ocean
  • Small fluffy clouds below us
  • Coming into Dominica with a view to Portsmouth in Prince Rupert Bay
  • Steep cliffs on the northern end of the island
  • Our first idea of just how mountainous the island is
  • A small village on the shore. The houses leading up onto the mountain show the direction fo the road
  • A view down into the capital of Roseau
  • A cruise ship docked in Roseau
  • There were quite a few chickens around the island
  • The road in a bend as it switchbacks up/down the hillside
  • This isn't much room on these roads when a car comes the other way
  • Many of the roads are carved right into the hillside
  • Where there are powerlines, they go up and over most anything
  • View down into Soufriere Bay with Scott's Head at the lower end of it
  • Women waiting at the bus stop
  • The streets are narrow and there are normally vehicles parked up and down one side of them
  • Plenty of colorful plants can be found in front of houses
  • Notice: No animals allowed on this playing field.<br /> *Any animal found... will be dealt with accordingly
