  • The view out to the ocean looking just south of where we will end up
  • The open hillside gives nice views, but not much to keep you from falling
  • Looking out to the ocean where we are headed
  • The trail follows along the edge of the hillside pretty much all the way
  • An opening through the trees
  • Someone at the front of the group noticed this crab next to the trail tucked into the leaves
  • Looking up a small brook down the bottom of the ravine we are in
  • The trail crosses the small brook and then runs down next to it for a while
  • A man made "bridge." Originally the water could flow from side to side in this area far below making it only crossable using vines and branches. Eventually it was filled in enough to cross
  • The steep wall of the cove next to the trail
  • In the cove there is a cave into the hillside
  • The cove next to the trail
  • The cove next to the trail
  • The trail zigzagging down the hillside in a steep section
  • The tall wall that is the shoreline entering the cove
  • Looking back into the cove from the trail
  • Looking back into the cove from the trail
  • Following the narrow trail up briefly before we reach our destination
  • Coming out onto the point where the pools are
  • Looking back at the cave in the cove
