Mt. Washington Sunrise Drive 7-25-10

For sunday morning we went up the Mt. Washington auto road for the sunrise. Three times in the summer they open the road early so you can watch the sunrise from the summit. Unfortunately Mother Nature didn't get the memo and the mountain was in the clouds and wind all day like it is two thirds of the year. It was still fun going outside in 60mph winds though.

  • Current weather conditions.  Yes the wind was blowing around 57 mph the entire time we were up there.  While we were at the summit it also gusted up to 75.2 mph
